Beginning with the race bib number 1400, and up, runners will not get a medallion as they cross the finish line.
Medallions will be given to runners with bib numbers from 001 to 1399 as they cross. IF MEDALLIONS STILL REMAIN after the last runner crosses the finish line, the announcement will be made from the Announcer’s Stand, hopefully, during the music.
In an attempt to provide the best possible experience for
our runners, Coke 10k has made the decision to cap our race should we get to
1500 runners. We have 1500 bibs, with
chips. We are currently at 1412
registered. When we reach 1500
registered, online and on-premise registration will cease.
We ask for your understanding and support in this
issue. It is very important to us that
the first person registered--even if the slowest runner--has the best possible
experience at Coke 10k. While we may be able
to accommodate more than 1500 in the future, we think that is our limit for
2013. Please remember that registration has been open more than 6 months.
